The 422 Sportsplex, is proud to offer Co-ed Youth Flag Football. Registration for the Spring 2023 session is open now. This league will be running on our outdoor turf field. Many people love our leagues for the fun, the competition, and for the wonderful community that comes together during the run of the leagues. 

Leagues are a great way to keep your child active during their off-season, gain new experiences, meet new people, and improve their football skills. Our main goal with this league is to ensure that your child stays active, improves their skills and knowledge of Flag football, and most importantly has fun. Flag football is a contact-free sport which means it’s safe, high-paced, and gives kids the opportunity to run, learn to work as a team, and work on their football skills.

 Please keep in mind that although your child may be a certain age they will be split into teams based on skill level!

Details: 

• • Expected kick off date is March 26th!
  • March 26th – June 4h – No games on Easter (4/9/23), No games on memorial day weekend (5/28/23) 
  • Sundays from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.  
  • 8-Week long league 
    • The 1st week is Evaluation where players will be split into teams to be drafted (if they do not have a team). 
    • We do encourage teams to come with volunteer coaches, they will not be provided by the facility 
    • The 8th week will be a “Bowl Game” – Championship
  • $115 per player until February 28th!
  • *Last day to register to play in the league is March 20th*
  • We will play rain or shine, to ensure the league ends on time 

How the League is expected to be ran:

• 5 v. 5 for games
• Maximum player roster is 12 players
• 2 – 20 Minutes halves
• 1 Minute halftime
• Co-ed teams are encouraged
• Mouth guards are required for all players
• Flags are not provided
• Cleats are allowed, no spikes
• Things recommended to bring:
• Soft Helmet (Rugby helmets), Water Bottles, lawn chairs ( we have bleachers, but we invite you to stay awhile!)
• Some games will be recorded via drone
