Beginner/Intermediate Camp
Ages: 8-14    Cost: $125

The camp is set to teach beginners the basics of field hockey...how to stop, push pass, dribble and strike the ball. The intermediates will start off with the same basic lessons to evaluate their ability and then will move on to dribbling and dodging skills, as well as how to recognize a “numbers up” offensive situation. Both groups will work on learning man-to-man defense and learning zone defense for “numbers down” situations. Parents are encouraged to watch their kids play in daily coached scrimmages, where players try to bring the skills they learned to the game situation.

Time: 1-4pm
